Huntsman RenShape® SL 7811 is among the latest additions to the suite of materials available for stereolithography (SLA) rapid prototyping from Laser Reproductions, a Columbus, Ohio based rapid prototyping company.

RenShape® SL 7811 stereolithography material is a white, low viscosity stable liquid that produces strong white models and prototypes with good surface finish and detail. This product is also well suited for building RTV patterns. Parts built with SL 7811 exhibit durability over longer lengths of time than most resins.

Product designers and manufacturers who need to develop small production runs or prototypes that mimic the production plastic ABS should look to this material, according to Bret Bordner, Vice President of Laser Reproductions. A full list of all of the materials available for its SLA equipment is available here.

One of the advantages of consulting with a service bureau such as Laser Reproductions is their ability to consult with clients to select materials and processes that can best serve the immediate demands of fast turn around and quality parts, ultimately supporting speed to market. The constant addition of new materials is an effort to continuously support the needs of the companies and organizations it serves indicated President Paul Bordner.

Laser Reproductions is a leading provider of rapid prototyping, manufacturing and product development services to industrial design firms, original equipment manufacturers, inventors, architects and other types of companies across the United States.
